Ready to pitch your creative startup?

Each year Creative Enterprises Hub holds a competition to find South Africa’s best creative startup that will go on to compete against other national winners from across the world at the Global Award event in Copenhagen, Denmark.

For the second year now South Africa is launching a nationwide call for creative startups to enter Creative Business Cup competition - 10 startups will be selected to pitch their businesses to a panel of judges in this Dragon’s Den style competition. As of today, creative entrepreneurs throughout South Africa can apply on our website – applications will close on 31 July 2018.

Hosted by Creative Enterprises Hub, with support from Reed Exhibitions the Finals will take place at The Dome in Johannesburg, from 6 - 8 September 2018 as part of The Small Business Expo. This will consist of a two day boot camp – where expert entrepreneurs from the creative industries will be invited to work with the selected startups to ready them for the pitch session on the 3rd and final day of events.

The finalists will be competing for a chance to represent South Africa in the Creative Business Cup finals at the global event in Denmark this coming November.
